I am 36 weeks pregnant and my dr said i dilated 1cm... i have been having contraction that are stronger then before but irregular everyone says i can go into labor soon..... is this true or could it take a long time to go into labor

Unfortunately it can sometimes be spread over days with contractions and dilating until they are strong enough, if they rapidly speed up and get very intense then you should go to hospital they normally only worry if the baby's heart rate goes low or too high. Or your waters break due to the risk of infections. But try and relax and good luck! It could all be happening very soon!

Ok thanks cause ppl r making me nervous saying i could go into labor in a week or so

I had contractions with my daughter on and off every few minutes 4 a couple hours I still didnt have her til a few days after her due date even then I got induced
