braxton hicks?

I've been having this thing every so often.. it feels like pressure nd its kinda painful. my stomach gets hard when it happens it doesn't usually last long n its been only about 2 days I think. I was told it sounded like braxton hicks but she wasn't totally sure. advice?

    Bh start at six weeks although most ppl do not recognize them until the second or third trimester. It sounds like Bh to me but if you're concerned it doesn't hurt to call your doctor.

    Also try taking a bath, drinking more water and laying on your left side.

    I have an appointment tomorrow so hopefully he'll tell me what it is. I can't hardly ever sleep on my left side because I get kicked for it whenever I try lol
