Might be a dumb question

So when a baby is tall how do they sit in a backward facing seat once they grow outta the infant carrier? my son is growing outta the carrier in height but i dont see how he is going to sit comfortably and contently in the back with a convertable seat if his legs are smushed.

  • I think the convertable ones don't recline as much so they are sitting more upright so their feet come up higher too... do u get what I'm saying
  • They still consider it safer to have his feet squished a little than turned around
  • They bend there knees...lol and they do get a lil squished but definitely way safer than forward facing..
  • Think about it.. they arent usually in the sest for a long time, so being "squisshed" for a bit wont hurt.
  • Its safer cuz yes they can break a leg but when front facing ans u slam your breaks they fling forward risking a neck
