Jack is only 9 months but 25lbs. Would it be safe to turn his carseat forward facing soon? His legs are getting crunched up and I'm sue that's not comfy for him. Opinions please
They say it's safer for their bones to be rear facing in the event of an impact. New guidelines say rear facing until two even with folded legs. My state law is until one year old and we will be turning him around in the hope of more peace and less screaming. :-W
@mommyof3girls it is easier! He's so tall but I'm going to try and wait. W just travel alot and are in the car for 3-4 hours at a time and I know his legs get crammed
I use to really want to switch my son around as well and was shocked when they started recommending the age to be two for forward facing.....but then I watched this video and it really changed my mind.
Your welcome! I just couldn't wait to turn him around and wAs looking forward to his first birthday. But I saw this video while researching convertible carseats and it completely changed my mind! There is no denying the evidence! As much as I would love for him to be forward facing, his safety is first!
Do u have an extended rear facing up to 45 lbs. My lo is big at nine months and fits the extended rear seat good and will for at least another 6-7 months. @sands3
