Pelvic pain symptoms

Hello, four months ago I found out I was expecting! Everything was going wel, aside from the mornig sickness, I have felt great. But two weeks ago I began experiencing pain above my pelvis and in my lower back. My pediatricians told me this was called ligature pain and that its normal. But a week I couldn't get out of bed because of the pain and it has been difficult ever since, this is not normal. Could it be I'm having pelvic pain? I hope not, the stories I have heard are not comforting.

Hi Beatrice, my name is Melli and I'm 22 weeks in my pregnancy. I'm feeling the exact same pain, and my pediatricians also called it ligature pain. But the pain kept getting worse, and walking became extremely difficult. I insisted on seeing a physician for a second opinion and she diagnosed me with pelvic pain. She recommended physical therapy, which I have been doing now for 2 weeks, and already I notice the difference. Please don't wait to long to seek help. Maybe it's nothing, but maybe it is.
