soy milk

So since Trixie can't seem to stomach cows milk, we are trying soy. She doesn't like it, she will take a few drinks of it and refuses to drink anymore. We tried it in a bottle, a sippy cup and a normal cup and she didn't want to drink it any better. I guess we will try again another time. Hope we find an alternative soon, cause I'm so ready to have my boobs back, I am done bf.

Maybe chocolate soy milk? I don't like regular soy milk but love chocolate.

Try hemp milk, or vanilla almond milk...or vanilla coconut milk! All are yummy!

@frantastic I'd like to stay away from the chocolate milk. I know silk has a vanilla kind so maybe we will try that if she doesn't like the original.
@ashley_smashley yea, those will be our next option if the soy doesn't work.

We do coconut milk, sweet and unsweet. Soy isn't very good for you anyway.

My LO didn't care for whole milk, but will drink goats milk. She is still breastfed, and the goats milk is sweet like breast milk. If your LO reacts adversely to goats milk then you can safely say they may have a milk protein allergy.

@smcox thanks, we are trying the soy milk because that is what her doctor recommended.
@mijita lol yea...I am a little afraid to try any animal milk at this point lol.

@smcox oh no, you didn't offend me at all. I was just saying why we were going with the soy milk, that's all. She's all plugged up now anyways so she won't even take a bottle with bm in it, all she wants to do is nurse.

My son doesnt like whole milk so i give him vanilla almond milk he drinks it up! I also heard soy wasn't good for you, but if your doc recomended it i guess it cant be too bad.
