Head support

edited December 2012 in Equipment & Supplies
Okay so I just purchased a convertible seat for my 6 month old. I love it but now I have the problem of her head falling forward when she sleeps and I'm looking for some suggestions because we're about to make a 7 hour trip and I would feel terrible if I didn't try and fix that some how. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks!

  • I got my 4 yr old one of those u shaped pillows. He's in a booster and his head always falls over
  • Do they really work? I just feel like it wouldn't be enough support @sands3
  • It kinda works. Not great but it does help
  • My convertable car seat is in a reclining position so I don't have that problem. But I used to use thick strap pads when she was very little to help keep her head up. I guess its the same concept as the u shaped pillow.
  • mine also is in a reclining position...although my son is 15 months now so i don't worry so much about that. i'm having a difficult time remembering if he was still in his infant seat when we traveled to VA from NJ...i think he was in his convertible seat though. we didn't have any issues then and he was 7 mos at the time.
