OK I take it back - in labor! UPDATED

She's not out yet, but I've had killer contractions since 2 am, and finally went to the hospital this afternoon about 3 pm. I was 4 centimeters in triage, and 6 by the time I asked for epidural 4 hours later. I'm disappointed I couldn't do it naturally. My labors are just too intense and too long, but I'm so hopeful for my VBAC and sooo glad she's 2 days late instead of 2 weeks! :-)

It's ok you're doing great job it's still hard work and painful no matter how you do it. Plus it's all such miracle and blessing no matter how they enter as long as you and the baby are safe and healthy! IM very happy you don't have to wait two weeks either!

Emmalexa Rose arrived 2/15 at 3:53 am! We stalled at 8 centimeters and went in for c-section because of her heart rate. Turns out my scar was beginning to open, so it was a good decision although disappointing. I'd planned for worse case, so I still got immediate skin to skin, got to keep my placenta, and we held off on bathing her until I was able to do it myself. We discharged two days later and I'm feeling pretty good and totally in love with our sweet girl!
