Oh man good luck! Try squats and if you have an exercise ball, or pump, stairs. Have you used evening epo? I mean that won't make you go into labor but helps thin out. I used it first time around my water broke at 38 weeks 6 days. @homebirthadvocate knows exactly how much to use. I really think it helped me as far as the lenght and how smooth my labor was and that was my first. I'm gonna use it this time too when I get closer

@homebirthadvocate: Well my mom said she had no symptoms at all and she walked her entire pregnancy with me. I was born on my exact due date. She didn't even know she was in labor until she went to her doctor's office and he told her she was in labor and was escorted to the hospital. Two hours later was born. She said I popped out the doctor had to catch me. So I'm not worried too much. I'm her only child.

Nothing helped me, but I hope something works for you. I tried everything except sex(my husband was deployed) with Jack. I ended up going into labor 7 hours before I had to be at the hospital for a c section
You have no control over when that baby comes hun. Also it's kind of rare to find babies born on their due dates which is why it's Estimated.. I tried everything besides Castor Oil and my baby was two weeks over due. Just let nature do it's job and your beautiful baby will come in no time. I know your anxious and just want to see the baby but it's better for the health of baby and you to wait it out until it's time.
My sister in law did the same thing with her two sons she didn't want to wait and had 2 C Sections both in August.. She had her 3rd baby yesterday vbac and natural..
But believe me I can understand how you feel.. I was really irritated and annoyed my baby wanted to wait so long to come..
I hope something works. I tried some stuff too but my son was late. Anything can happen so keep in mind you might go overdue. You're so close though, just enjoy these last few days because you kinda miss them after the baby gets here.
Lol you don't have to put it down there. You can take them some women do put it down there though. But your very close no reason to buy them now anyways. I'm very excited for you!
@sands3: Honestly right now. The thought of sex makes me wanna hurl. The only position I really feel comfortable with right now is doggystyle and wasn't the biggest fan of that position before I was pregnant. We might be in the same boat because nothing I've done seems to be working for me.
@MyLove2: I'm not really trying to make baby come. I just want to get labor started. That's my main focus. Yes it is kind of killing me. Its like... @NylasMommy: I can't wait to post pics and your daughters are gorgeous.
@perly: I know. It sucks though because you are so close to the due date and then you go over. I don't want to go too over and end up being induced or have to get a c-section. I'm trying to stay relaxed. Walking is something I did before I was pregnant and something I really enjoy doing and I am glad I got the jogger stroller so I can take my son with me before the weather changes.
Yup i totally understand. As far as induction and c-sections, i used to think the same way you do but when i was that close to my due date i finally accepted the fact that the baby had to be out one way or another and i just had to be ready for whatever. My due date came around and the baby never dropped so i ended up having a c-section... I hope i have better luck when i have another one.
@perly: I mean I'm prepared for whatever outcome it maybe, but I'm praying for he comes without any medical interventions, but I know it doesn't always go as you want it.
To me, that's the most sucky part of pregnancy lol. You can have a birth plan set and everything but labor is so unexpected sometimes it just doesn't work out the way we want. I really do hope that you go into labor on your own and that you have a nice and fast delivery and recovery... Basically the dream we all have lol.
@perly Thank you and me too. I decided not to go on my walk today the temperature got up to 94° today and with the humidity it felt like 103°. So I'm laying under the fan with a bunch of iced cold frozen bottles of water. Tomorrow its supposed to get up to 97° which mean the humidity will have it feeling like 106°. Where was this weather at last month? It should be cooling down not warming up. The perks of living in the Midwest.
