Updates on Rubiya.
Ok so we all had an eventful week with her. She just this past week developed the Hives and then got a stomach bug. Gratefully, she is dong much better now! She did need a McKee feeding tube placed in because her gtube deflated and feel out!! We put in a temporary one in an emergency case, that one wasn't good enough and it was a pain to deal with so the doctor was willing to replace it with a low profile McKee feeding tube today in the morning!! She drinks half of the amount she's supposed to, she still has another halfway to go before her Doctor is willing to take it out.. we have to push harder with the liquids due to her VP Shunt.
Physically she is wanting to pull herself up into standing position and is able to make steps on her own with a little guidance with her left leg. She only goes strong for about 2 or 3 minutes with little support. Which is a great achievement! She's managing to learn new things every week. I love the fact that we are still able to watch her grow and see how happy she is at learning these things.
She one happy and strong little girl and we are preparing for her 2nd birthday on the 18th of this month. Can't wait I hope she enjoys her presents!!!
