taking aspirin while preg

Hi everyone. Heres my story last yr in march i had an abortion at 6wk 5days. I just found out im pregnant again (finally). The doc told me to take an aspirin 81mg a day every day. And gestageno 100mg 2 a day to help avoid a m/c. Has anyone taken these? Any info will be helpfull.

    I thought aspirin is on the do not take list. That's wat my doctor told me

    My dr told me I can only take tylenol extra strength.

    I heard apirin is a no no also.. its a blood thinner I believe and not usually recommended.. id double check with your doc or some research before you keep taking it!

    For at risk prgnancies they will occasionally prescribe baby aspirin. I've never really looked into why. For most pregnancies and at adult levels aspirin is not recommended, tho. if you're concerned ask your dov for the reasoning behind it, they're usually willing to explain things. Or get a second opinion.

    Thank you all so much. I decided not to go with it. It sounds too risky. I guess ill just go to another doc. And get another opinion about it before i start taking it. Thank you all again :)

    I was put on 81mg of Bayer Aspirin per day around my 10th week of pregnancy by a high-risk specialist. I've suffered two miscarriages & this is my 3rd pregnancy. I'm now at week 19. Thinning the blood a little for women who have had multiple miscarriages is recommended, according to my OB Specialist. But otherwise, aspirin is a no-no when pregnant.

    Thats the one i was put on as well...its just that im scared im taking too much stuff already. Im taking 2 prenatal vit. The progeterone 2 a day and then aspirin...it sounded too much :/ i guess im just scared. But hopefully next week ill get to go talk to my doc personally and decide whats best for me. Thanks for the advise and for the reassurance that it is ok to take them :)

    I take a baby aspirin everyday I take it to make my placenta open up & take Blood in better, my specialist put me on them, it will make you bleed easier I had a nose bleed for literally an hour but they good me it was the aspirin.
