Just seeing how everything is going and anything new with the dilated bowels. My ultrasound last month showed that hers were gone so I don't get anymore ultrasounds. The specialist said there still is a slight chance that something might be wrong but most likely not. Which is great news!October 2011-
momma_tiffayAfter my ultrasound around 28weeks or so, I switched to a dr associated with a hospital that has a better nicu & more prepared staff in the possibility that something could be wrong. My dr referred me to a maternal fetal medicine dr as well who continued to do frequent ultrasounds on me, & in their opinion all looks good. They said it doesn't mean I'm 100% out of the clear becaus e the condition my 3yr old had is impossible to diagnose via ultrasound, but in their opinion chances seem slim, which is a great relief! I'm 39weeks now, & I'm scheduled for induction this Friday! :)

Hey just seeing how everything is with baby and if you've gotten any more info. I had my us today and she still has the echogenic bowel but has no bowel obstructions so he's thinking its likely that nothing could be wrong with her. He also mentioned that it might just be the ultrasound that might be causing it to look like brighter and such.August 2011

momma_tiffaywell, as of right now i still don't know much. i failed my 1hr glucose test, so thats got me all worried. i have my next ultrasound on the 22nd, i'm hoping all appears well then. i hope that your baby is fine, hopefully mine is too. but i don't understand about the bowel obstructions? my sons intestine didn't burst until after he was born, & didn't poop for 3days. i really hope it's just a case of bad imaging for the both of us!

redhead25Since he's a specialist his equipment is more advanced and he can zoom right in on the bowel and see that nothing is obstructing it. I asked if they could get a 3d pic of her face and she wasn't in the best position but I'm still able to see that she has my nose and face shape so I'm pretty excited. I have glucose test in a couple of weeks. I was really hoping it would be gone by this appt. I good yours is gone by your ultrasound! Keep me updated!
