I took them up until 5 days ago, because of constipation, being so very close to my due date, and the fact that a pill broke open and now they all taste like fish oil. Rinsing doesn't help :(

I am 39 weeks, due June 28th with a baby boy. baby dropped awhile ago and ive been having the stabby cervical pains quite alot. I have not been checked for dilation so I have no idea there...no plans for induction, my midwives wont even consider it …

@lil_buggie_3 I can wait a little longer! :)

@lil_buggie_3 Yeah, and my midwives have a policy of doing "minimal vaginal exams" so I guess we will see.

@lil_buggie_3 Thanks for the response :) I don't know what to do if that happens! I guess I will end up having a home birth if there are no other signs...well, at any rate I meet with my midwife tomorrow for a prenatal, so should I have her do a vag…

From my research, it said that the only reason the baby kicks during sex/orgasm is due to your heart rate increasing, which is not dangerous. Your uterus will contract afterwards, but it shouldn't affect baby cause they are protected in the amniotic…

Thanks to everyone who gave encouraging advice! I plan on a natural water birth and this is my first so it is nice to hear feedback. My plan is to treat the pain the same way I do tattoo pain...grin and bear it, and know it will be over before long …

I spend most of my time researching, but maybe I am just boring :P

In Oregon it is illegal for them to give you one while breastfeeding, you have to sign a waiver promising you are not.

My friend checked out baby einstein and said it is just classical music. So it would be cheaper to check it out on that channel if you have cable music or satellite, or look it up online

I started out overweight/ slightly obese and was told to only gain 15-25lbs but I am 38 weeks and have gained 30ish, and no one has said anything about induction or c-section. The funny thing is, my entire body besides my baby belly looks exactly th…

I say don't go. You could end up having your baby in a strange hospital in a strange town and a strange doctor, without your bd. Or worse, end up laboring in a car for hours. Also, it is recommended that when traveling by car you stop every hour or …

Thereis also a book for family members of those with Borderline, called "stop walking on eggshells" and I think another for everybody called "overcoming childhood abuse" or something like that.

@VictoriaB :) I hope they help.

@adensmommy0803 My words of wisdom to you: read the sites I posted, most likely he also has a personality disorder along with alcoholism, like my mother. And think about your future...what if he hit your children? What if he verbally abused them? Wh…

Mine is great, i have the boppy full body pillow, but I turn it upside down from what the pic shows so the skinny part is under my head and the thick part is between my legs. I have that in front of me and a body pillow behind my back so I can't rol…

I say talk to the doc anyway, see what he has to say. Having to change your routine would be worth it if it affects the health of your baby. When in doubt, ask a professional, not a forum :)

@LilOneOnTheWay. Thank you ((hugs)) My mom will never see a therapist, and I know from dragging her to one AA meeting that it wouldn't do any good if she did, her denial is too strong. By proxy, my psychologist has diagnised her with Borderline and…

@ExcitedForOctober agreed! She should take it easy. Doctors and research is what I base my info on, not my own logic.

My drs and midwives recommend only half an hour of exercise a day,a whole hour if you are obese/overweight so you don't burn up the calories the baby needs. Also you should not be biking, it is on the list of unsafe exercises due to the risk of fall…

@Jaime77 getting emancipated isn't as easy as everybody thinks. Unless things have really changed since I was a teen, you must have had a job for 6 months, have a good amount of money saved up, have references and a high GPA. Most abused kids have n…
