U can also leave it in the fridge over night
-
We do them after the baby arrives where I'm from, but mostly as a welcome to the world shower and to celebrate the new life, not because we are afraid that baby won't make it here.
-
U can always take his temp rectally, that sometimes gets things moving
-
Dilation is how open ur cervix is, 60% is referring to effacement or how thinned out your cervix is. The -2 station refers to where baby is at in the birth canal. I believe 0 is when baby's head is even with ur pelvic bone, +1 or +2 is when baby's h…

Call ur doc, mine have me a prescription for some cream that healed them quickly, u may also want to see a lactation consultant, it sounds like a bad latch
-
It never hurts to call your doctor. This would not be a normal thing for me, but I have no idea if its within normal for pregnancy
-
U would call in and see what the drs office says. Your clinic should have an after hrs line or an answering service that will get in touch with the on call doc.

I'm sure I tore cuz of big babies, but my recovery was easier when I tore than with an episotomy!
-
My first I had an episiotomy she was 7# 8 oz, my second I had minor tearing internally with a few stitches he was 9# 5 oz, and with my 3 rd I tore just to the side of where an episiotomy would have been had stitches she was 9# 13 oz.

I never warmed bottles, I used a Brita pitcher and would use room temp water, then baby never needed a warmed bottle when we were out and about
-
I made it to 4, but it wore off at 9.5cm
-
Ok, cuz if it was anywhere else I was gonna suggest rectally
-
How did u take her temp??
-
At some point with all three of my pregnancies I suffered from vertigo, everytime I changed positions especially while laying down I would get dizzy. With my first pregnancy it was in my 3 rd trimester, my 2 nd was in my second trimester and my 3 rd…

I went to get induced right after my drs appt, she told me eating something light was fine. I'm glad I did, my daughter was born 23 hrs and 46 minutes after my induction started.
-
I feed my 11 day old every 2-4 hrs for 30 mins to an hr, just depends on her needs at the time
-
Babies gain about 1/2 a pound a week toward the end
-
You will cramp because your uterus has to clamp down to stop bleeding, no matter how little I do. If u breastfeed cramping will be worse because of hormones causing your uterus to clamp down more. U can take pain meds and they help a lot
-
Your abs will hurt if u do too much, and cramping sucks
-
I gained 56lbs, I am 8 days post partum and I'm down 30 lbs
-
My first two I was in labor for less than 12 hrs. With my 3 rd, now 8 days old, I started my induction at 1pm on Sept 19 and had her at 12:46pm on Sept 20
-
Make sure he wipes front to back,
-
While u might feel ready to go back sooner than 6 wks pp, many daycare providers will not take a baby younger than 6 wks.
-
I have lower abdominal and back pain, but I think its mostly from lifting my older kids and using muscles that have little tone left
-
The hospital often gives u an estimate if your charges, and sometimes if you pay ahead they may discount your charges.
-
I use soap everywhere but face, and u can bathe as often as u need. Baby's skin may get really dry if u bathe too often, but if its needed no problem
-
Pick a bottle and, stick with it. Baby is already having trouble switching to the bottle, switching bottles isn't helping
-
Good luck girls on your induction! I was induced 5 days early, pushed out my 9lb 13 oz baby girl, after almost 24 hrs.
-
Yeah, I just had my little girl on tues.
-
Had my daughter at 12:46pm after 24 hrs of labor and my epidural wearing off when it was time to push. Her name is Kinley Reed she weighs 9lbs 13 oz and is 20 1/4 inches
