My doctor never said not to sleep on my belly, but he did say no Sleeping on my back and reccommended (sp?) Sleeping on my left side. My bf boughf me a body pillow from ikea and i keep it between my legs and sleep like a baby.

The good news is, that they will start to hurt less once you reach your second trimester. I know how miserable it feels tho! Warm showers and baths did miracles for me.
