Use any spray bottle and put warmish water in it, then spray while you pee. My friend said that helped a lot. I've only had c-sections so I can't speak from experience, but she swore by it.

I had x-rays during my first trimester twice-once on my mouth before I found out I was prego, and once on my chest because the doctors thought I had pneumonia. From what they told me, in order for x-rays to have any negative effect at all, they have…

Are you using candy-sized wrappers? Can you post your recipe?

Puppp with my first pregnancy. Next poster: do you sing your children lullabies?

The chances of rupture or complications from vbac are VERY small. :)

:( you're in my thoughts. I'm so sorry that you're going through this.

@vette_devil I read a study where they looked at incidences of SIDS in infants who co-slept. The incidence was considerably higher when parents fell asleep on the couch with their infants, but infants who co-slept in a bed were equal to or below th…

The bill from my ob was $3200 for the c-section. I don't even know what the hospital bill was for me or for my son, or what the pediatritian's bill was. It's all really expensive, but the "good" news is that there's no interest on medical …

yay for blueberry! :) congrats!

Lol @lil_buggie_3 violet is a good name for a blueberry. :) it's almost time! I hope there's an update before I have to start work!

Maybe you should just make a list and put it aside until he's born. With my first we had his name picked out right away, but with my second we couldn't decide until after he was born. I think we're going to do the same this time.
-
I never weaved mine through the bars, just put it on the inside and tucked it down like @kalikojenie said.
-
:( How did they diagnose you? You're lucky, I thought that that was something that was usually diagnosed after birth. Shouldn't they be giving you a c-section rather than inducing you?

I use the lemon-lime flavor. It tastes like flat sprite. It's so gross, but it's the only one that doesn't make me gag.
-
It's not too early, I was the same with all of my pregnancies. But it's something that you should mention to your doctor at your next appointment, just to be on the safe side. Swelling can be an indicator of preeclampsia, especially if it's severe-i…

:( I'm sorry that it happened again. I know so many people right now who are desperately trying to start families and are having no luck. It breaks my heart to see so much love with nowhere to go. Maybe a short break after your 4 months would be a g…

It's really rare for it to not go away, but having it during pregnancy does put you at higher risk for developing diabetes later in life.
-
I'm sorry you can't breast feed this one. I know how hard that is. :( It's always harder and scarier when it's your own baby. My sister is an RN in the ER and she was the same way with her son.
-
Just keep after him until he takes you seriously. Or go look for a second opinion. Your doctor should take your concerns into consideration or be able to give you an explanation for why you would be having those symptoms. If s/he can't do that, then…

It's very common, yes. As long as you take care of them right away they're nothing to worry about. Well, nothing to worry about for the baby. Obviously for you they suck a lot. So far this time I haven't had one and I'm very grateful; with my other …

It takes a few minutes. They usually take him out of the room for a few minutes and then bring him back in. It's not done immediately, though, and they probably won't be willing to do it right away. It's not your doctor who does it, it's your pediat…

That would be freaking me out, too. :( Like you, I would have guessed an umbilical hernia, but I don't know if that would have anything to do with him not pooping much. Maybe try karo syrup in his bottles--I've heard that works, though I've never ha…

Lol @jaime77 my first never peed on me and neither did my step-son, but my second son peed every damn time we took his diaper off. All of his doctor at his first appointment, all over the curtains next to his changing table (at least three times), a…

Yeah, the vaseline is just so it doesn't stick to the diaper as it heals. My kids' circumcisions never had a clamp and they never got swollen, either.
-
It starts to look healed (just like a normal cut). If you're not sure then just wait until your doctor says you can stop using the vaseline. It can't hurt to use it too long. :)

You're right, he needs to grow up or he needs to get out. I totally understand not wanting to your children to come from a divorced home, but what they're going through right now is a thousand times worse. You are their voice--their ONLY voice--and …

@mrsthompson34 I have been sooo lazy since I got pregnant this time. All I want to do is...nothing. At all. Ugh. My 3 other kids don't make it any easier, though, lol. :)

Congratulations! That's great news!

Yay! Congrats, guys! I'm at 81 days and beginning to freak out because nothing in my house is ready.
