We didn't. It took a lot of convincing to get my husband to agree. He just wanted him to be the same as everyone else, but with circumcision on the downward trend, he'll encounter more boys intact if, for some reason, everyone is looking at everyone…

@ta2edblondie My scars prevented my cervix from dilating until the last minute so my lady bits didn't have time to stretch to accommodate my son's gigantic head. Thank God he was only 5 lb 12oz.

In the 1800s, boys used to wear dresses until they hit a certain age. I can't remember why, exactly.

I would've made a note to remind myself that I have scars on my cervix from having it frozen... Would've saved me a lot of tearing...

It could be something as simple as a tag on her clothes bothering her or a hair wrapped around her finger. She could also be going through a growth spurt. Try a warm bath.

When he gets home, even after working eight hours, he'll quickly take a shower, then take the little guy from me and let me get a nap in. He's done this since he went back to work five weeks ago. <3 my husband

@Loving_Life How many weeks did you wait before switching formulas? Switching too quickly can cause constipation.
-
The same thing happened to me. I wasn't dilating because I had cryotherapy done on my cervix to kill off abnormal cells and the scar tissue was preventing dilation. I had forgotten about the scar tissue so when i was induced, I went from a fingerti…

I take it for my depression and have for most of my pregnancy. I started on Celexa and it gave me the abnormal happys for a week or so, but I knew it was fake and I would crash soon. I switched over to Zoloft because the doctor who had prescribed it…

Hubby is a clean Capricorn; I'm a messy Aries.

I stopped believing in Santa when I was five. I plan to let my little guy believe as long as he wants to.
-
My little guy smacks me in the face when I try to comfort his hungry rages while I get the boob ready. My husband and I laugh because he's mostly flailing his tiny arms.

What do you mean by see?
-
Babies have no interest in faces at first because they're near sighted so it's hard for them to focus. I wouldn't worry too much at this stage.

I stubbed my pinky toe, the same one mind you, into EVERYTHING from 28 weeks to 36 weeks. I thought I broke it. It's still swollen and sore.
-
Had him at 1:30 this morning. Story to follow!

In l&d. Got started on antibiotics and certitech (?) To get my cervix to open up more.

HOLY CONTRACTIONS BATMAN!! Went to the bathroom this morning before taking a warm bath to get my mind off things. Passed a HUGE glob of mucous. Didn't think much of it since I passed a ton yesterday too. Got in the tub, laid back to relax and KAPOW…

*sigh* They sent us home. My cervix is still tightly closed. What's really pissing me off is that I am scheduled for an induction in less than 48 hours. I don't understand why my doctor wouldn't just do it while we were there. And I'm still contrac…

Thanks @stephforever89 and @angel26. WE'RE ON OUR WAY TO L&D!!

I started that two days ago. Today I lost my plug!! My cervix refused to do anything until now. There is hope for you!!

Shadow looks like a child.

It has the side effect of vomiting and nausea. Which I found out by vomiting, lol.

Is it azithromycin? I threw up taking that pill but only while pregnant. Never had issues before.

I don't believe in crying it out. My mother picked up both my brother and me whenever we cried and we were both very independent children growing up.
-
You really shouldn't let him cry it out. Crying it out makes the baby feel as if his needs won't be met anytime he cries, whether it's for food, a clean diaper, or just needing a cuddle. Your baby is putting his trust in you that you will meet his n…

I had a scan at 28 weeks and he was estimated at 2 lbs 14 oz. Then I had a scan at 38 weeks and he was estimated at 5 lbs 8 oz. I'll find out shortly (please for the love of god) how much he weighs at birth.
-
I'm due in two days. If he doesn't show up on his own, I'll be induced next Tuesday.
-
All babies develop at a different pace than other babies. I wouldn't worry too much since she's still fairly young. If she can't do it at, say, six months, I would worry.

Ugh, I'm 39+3 and could've been induced last Thursday but nooooo I have still NOT progressed. At all! No dilation, no effacement, nothing! So I've got another week of appointments. If I haven't dilated by Thursday's appointment, then I will be induc…
